Q1 2026:
Doing the Hard Work That Matters
The first quarter of 2026 was one of our most active yet. Across more than 20 client engagements spanning manufacturing, consumer goods, life sciences, health tech, luxury retail, and environmental services, our team delivered thousands of hours of focused, practical work.
From multi-site ERP migrations and payments automation to MRP kickoffs, item master overhauls, and custom SuiteApp development, the throughline was the same: practical solutions to real operational problems, delivered by people who know NetSuite deeply.

Four Things That Defined Our Q1
Q1 Themes
01
Automation & Payments Integration
Clients accelerated work to automate cash application, connect payment processors, and clean up aging AR workflows inside NetSuite.
02
MRP & Manufacturing Ops
We kicked off MRP implementations and manufacturing workflow builds for clients pushing to get real production planning visibility inside NetSuite.
03
Multi-Site ERP Migrations
Multiple clients are progressing through phase-by-phase site go-lives, migrating business units onto NetSuite from legacy platforms without disrupting operations.
04
System Cleanup & Optimization
From bundle pruning and token-based auth migrations to item record overhauls, Q1 was also a quarter of getting houses in order.
A look at the types of projects that drove the bulk of our Q1 delivery.
The Work Behind the Hours
Project Spotlights
VersaPay · AR Automation · Bundle Cleanup
Automation · Payments · NetSuite
Payments Automation: Eliminating Manual Cash Application
One of our longest-running solar energy clients made significant progress this quarter on AR automation, integrating VersaPay with NetSuite to automate cash application and reduce the manual reconciliation burden on their finance team. Alongside that, we tackled bundle cleanup and deprecated legacy customizations that had accumulated over years of system growth. The result: a leaner, more maintainable NetSuite environment with smarter AR processes. Automation doesn't just save time, it removes a whole class of errors.
MRP · Bill of Materials · Production Planning
Manufacturing · MRP · NetSuite
MRP Implementation Kickoff: Production Planning That Actually Works
We kicked off a Materials Requirements Planning implementation for a lighting manufacturer this quarter, one of the most impactful NetSuite modules for production-driven businesses when it's configured correctly. MRP in NetSuite gives operations teams real demand-driven production scheduling: automated work order and purchase order suggestions based on actual inventory levels, lead times, and sales demand. The kickoff work focused on data readiness, bill of materials cleanup, and defining the planning parameters that drive accurate outputs. Getting MRP right is a process exercise as much as a technical one.
Multi-Site Migration · Go-Live Support · Data Migration

Phase-by-Phase Site Go-Lives: Migration Without Disruption
For a client in the environmental services space, Q1 marked the start of phase one system migrations as part of a broader multi-entity migration onto NetSuite. Migrating complex organizations in phases rather than in one big-bang cutover reduces risk and keeps operations stable while the new system proves itself. Our team managed the data migration, process alignment, and go-live support across multiple business units. Phase 2 work is already underway. This is the migration model we recommend: deliberate, staged, and always with a clean rollback plan.
Token-Based Auth · Security · Item Migration
Security · System Health · NetSuite
Token-Based Auth Migration: Getting Off Legacy Credentials
NetSuite's shift away from user credential-based integrations toward Token-Based Authentication (TBA) is well underway, and clients still running legacy auth setups are increasingly exposed to both security risk and future deprecation. This quarter we helped a manufacturing client complete their token conversion across integrations and scripts, alongside an item record migration that cleaned up years of inconsistent data. TBA migration isn't glamorous work, but it's the kind of foundational hygiene that protects a system long-term. If you haven't done it, it should be on your roadmap.
Item Master · Data Governance · SuiteScript
Data Quality · NetSuite
Item Master Overhauls: The Foundation of Everything Else
One of our deepest Q1 engagements was a full Item Master Data Management project for a consumer goods client. Messy item data is the root cause of downstream problems across reporting, fulfillment, and integrations. We designed governance processes, standardized records across thousands of SKUs, built custom fields and workflows, and developed SuiteScript automations to enforce data quality going forward. Clean item data isn't glamorous, but every accurate report, every clean integration, and every reliable fulfillment pick traces back to it.
SuiteScript · Lot Traceability · Compliance Automation
Custom Development · Life Sciences
Custom SuiteApp Enhancements: Auto Lot Numbering for Regulated Manufacturing
For a medical device client, we delivered custom SuiteApp enhancements that auto-generate sequential lot numbers at the correct point in the production workflow. Standard NetSuite doesn't enforce this natively, but for a regulated manufacturer, lot traceability isn't optional. Our team handled functional design and SuiteScript 2.x development to extend the existing SuiteApp so it fires the right logic at the right transaction stage, maintains a full audit trail, and eliminates manual lot assignment entirely. Targeted custom enhancements like this turn a compliance burden into a solved problem.

Why We Recommend Phased ERP Migrations Over Big-Bang Cutovers
Sector: Multi-entity organizations
Challenge: Migrating complex businesses without operational disruption
Disciplines: Data Migration · Process Design · Go-Live Management
The most common mistake in ERP migrations isn't a technical one, it's a sequencing one. Organizations attempt to move everything at once: every entity, every process, every integration, in a single cutover weekend. When it works, it's celebrated. When it doesn't, the consequences can last months.
The phased approach we used with an environmental services client this quarter is a better model for complex organizations. The logic is straightforward: migrate one business unit or site at a time, prove the system in production, learn from real usage, and carry those lessons into the next phase. Each phase go-live is a smaller surface area of risk. Each successful go-live builds confidence and organizational muscle memory for the next one.
The practical prerequisites for this approach are worth naming. First, your data model needs to accommodate the phased structure. NetSuite's multi-subsidiary architecture handles this well, but it requires upfront design. Second, the integration layer between legacy and new systems needs to be managed carefully during the transition period, when some entities live in both worlds simultaneously. Third, change management can't be an afterthought. Users in live entities become your best trainers for entities still on deck.
For multi-entity businesses considering a NetSuite migration in 2026, phased is almost always the right call. We're happy to talk through what that looks like for your specific structure.

More From Q1
Integration · Boomi
3PL & Distribution Integrations: Clean Data at Every Handoff
Q1 included sustained Boomi integration work across multiple distribution clients: 3PL data feeds, warehouse receipt processing, ASN handling, and order status syncs back into NetSuite. We also maintain Celigo and Workato pipelines for clients in eCommerce and payments. The through-line in all of it: integrations should be invisible. When they're built and monitored correctly, your team isn't manually reconciling anything or chasing missing records. If your integrations require regular babysitting, that's a design problem, and one we can fix.
SuiteCommerce · eCommerce
SuiteCommerce: When Your Storefront and ERP Share a Brain
We completed a focused SuiteCommerce engagement for a client in the automotive aftermarket accessories space this quarter, configuring their B2B and B2C commerce layer natively within NetSuite. The advantage of SuiteCommerce over third-party platforms is real-time data unity: inventory, pricing, customer records, and order history live in one system. No sync, no lag, no reconciliation. When it's built correctly, it's one of the most operationally clean eCommerce setups available to NetSuite customers.
Every engagement draws on our core disciplines across NetSuite and the integration ecosystem.
